Finally blogging after a prolonged hiatus

I fell off the blogging wagon for a while. There are multiple reasons, such as needing to sort through blogger.com not doing FTP publishing any longer; this is the same blog, but hosted at Google's blogger service. We've also had a lot of construction around the house, which increased the general level of chaos. It's all been sorted through now, so you'll be hearing more from me soon.
